• Oyunu oynarken, yarışta yolun ilerisini göstermeden önce donuyor (takılıyor) ve sanki bir süre yüklenmesini (CD’nin okumasını) bekliyor gibi. Bu donma, 10-15 saniye sürüyor.

1. Faulty Capacitor:
   • 01 – Sony Playstation 1 SCPH102 Wont Read Discs Due to Faulty Capacitor – I hadnt used this PS1 for years, and it wouldnt read a disc when I tried it again. Turned out it was a faulty capacitor.
   • 02 – Ps1 Model SCPH-101 Disc Read Fix [Without Replacing Laser] – In this video, I point out what capacitor I replaced to fix my PS1. The repair I did didn’t require a replacement laser. In fact, the only reason the ps1 wouldn’t read discs was because of a faulty capacitor. It’s something to consider before getting rid of your old ps1 laser.

The Optical Pickup (Laser) has been replaced but it’s still not reading disc’s. – If it sounds strange when I say the word Potentiometer that’s because I went back and overdubbed my Audio. I kept saying the word “Pot” which is an abbreviation for the word Potentiometer. People with knowledge of electronic components will know instantly what I’m referring to when I say “Pot”, but the unfamiliar will not so I went back and overdubbed the Audio to Potentiometer.

   1. 01 – Original Sony PlayStation 1 (PSX) (Doesn’t Read Discs) Can I Fix It? – I wasn’t going to upload this one, because it was actually an incredibly simple fix, but I think it underlines the importance of checking the laser lens and disc compartment for dirt and debris.
