Answer: PL1 = P2<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They are saying to remove the pentalobe screws on iPhone 11 and earlier you need their &#8220;PL1&#8221; bit but to remove the pentalobe on the iPhone 12 you need a &#8220;P2 Pentalobe&#8221;. I don&#8217;t believe Apple changed the size of their pentalobe screws, did they? If so are these Wera bits the same thing just named differently?\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">PL1 is the same as P2. There are multiple naming conventions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>I emailed Wiha about this. They confirmed that the &#8220;P2 Pentalobe&#8221; is in fact a bigger bit than the &#8220;PL1&#8221;.
